Olympics here we come!

slide, slide, slide...
Whoever said this was hard, is crazy!

I'm a natural.

slide, slide, slide....

Ryal, does this mean I'm crazy?
Yes Owen, but we've known that.

Shake it off and I'm back at it!

We're doing a little cooking.

Now that my chin is feeling better it's time for cooking!

Ryal, you make the coffee, I'll make the oatmeal.

Now we need to make pancakes and candy.

Just like cleaning closets (see post Friday, July 17th, 2009),
cooking is much better without pants.

Ryal's first trip to the ER!

Last night Owen and I were taking our bath and I thought it would be a good idea to get out of the tub all by myself. I slipped and bonked my chin on the tub. I cried a little bit. Once Owen found out we were going to the doctor, he freaked out and cried far more than I did.
He's such a crazy kid. We're still not sure if he was upset because I was hurt or because he thought HE was going to the doctor. He's not a fan.

I wonder when our table will be ready?

Dad quit being a baby.
I'm tough...I'm related to Mom!

A little glue, and I'm good as new!

The boys.

So many great ideas!

A huge Thank You to Miss Mary Lea!
Your wonderful blog and ideas and craftiness help keep things interesting around here!
Now we have our own Chicka Chicka Boom Boom tree!!!

A day in our life....

We started our day off with a gravel pit/dinosaur playground box.
The garbage truck picked up all the dinosaur poop and then dumped it in Lambeau's bowl, which then was composted and put back into the box. Dinosaur poop is great for planting gardens. Our garden is growing palm trees.

After lunch and a nap we decided we needed another creative outlet.
Today was our first try with watercolors.

They weren't messy enough for Owen.
He wanted to play with the dinosaur poop again.

I always like to end my day with a bucket on my head.
It makes me look fierce!

Valentines Painting

We have discovered a love of painting.
Not always on paper, but painting non the less.

We like to do handprints!

Look Mom, I painted my arm too!

Don't tell Mom, but next I'm going to put it in my hair!
