We love our presidents!

The Easter bunny brought us a new puzzle.
With some help from mom and dad we were able to finish it in one sitting.
Here's hoping this puzzle's good through 2016!
We're IN!

Where babies come from...

While driving home from dinner last night we took a route that led us past the building where John and I had our wedding reception. An amazing conversation ensued and here's how it went down.....

Meg - That's where mom and dad had their wedding reception a long time ago.
Ryal - Were we babies then?
Meg- No, we didn't know about you then?
Ryal - Were we in your tummy?
Meg- No, you were still with God.
Ryal- Were we bowling with God?
Meg- Yes, you were bowling with God until he decided it was time to put you in my tummy.
Owen - No, he dropped me in the meadow and I walked into town.

-Amen

* During thunderstorms we tell the boys that God is bowling and that's why it's so loud outside.

Guess who's back!

We've been away for awhile.
Here are a couple of things we've been up to lately.

Hmmm, this is a tough one.
Maybe if I take the pencil out from behind my ear I could sketch out what this motorcycle is supposed to look like or even......

Ah heck, I'll just bite my nails.

I fell in the driveway and had to get four stitches.
I'm much better now.
I like to do fish faces.

We're helping mom paint the bathroom.
We're not much help.
In fact, this project has no end in sight.

We're going to preschool in the fall.
Maybe she'll finish painting the bathroom then.

Our dance recital is in June.
The costumes, while ordered in the smallest size possible, were WAY too big. Our mom's friend Miss Carol came over and spent 4 1/2 hours taking them apart and putting them back together.
We're saving the full costume reveal for the recital.
Fire up!

We like cake... pink and red cake to be exact.
We eat it as often as possible.
Which due to the fact that we have the mother that we have...isn't very often.

We've begun working on the scientific names of birds.
Jeopardy Kids here we come!

Trees...more my speed.
