First snowfall of the season!

Let's get movin' Mom.
This sled isn't going to pull itself!

Alright Owen,
now that I've fired Mom let's see if you can make this baby go!

Lambeau like to read too!

Our hunting dog, turned lap dog.

We're going to see Santa!

We went to Brucemore (a local historical mansion) to see Santa.
Mom said we needed a picture for our Christmas card, so "stand still".
She tried in front of this tree first.

Then this tree.
But the fake presents were much more interesting!

Finally, we tried in front of this tree.
Mom was sweating, and starting to get grouchy.
She kept telling us that Santa is watching and we need to be good boys.
To which we say....
We didn't break anything and when we left all of the Christmas trees in the place were still standing upright!

See Santa, we're good....mostly!

Poor Santa!

Mom hung Santa up to be festive.
We had different plans for the springy guy!

A little of this...

A little of that...

Some more of this...

And there you have it!
It's just bread.

Buggin' a brother.

Ryal is so serious about his painting.
I'm serious about antagonizing him!
Really!
It's one of my favorite things to do!

See, look at my face!
Plotting my attack!

Luckily for Ryal, Mom always knows what I'm up to.
How does she do that?

Makin' Turkeys

I like to make hand print turkeys.
Taking my time on the painting part and really making a solid turkey is rewarding.

How's it going for you Owen?

Super!
I like my turkeys to be abstract.

Trick or Treat

This year we went as sheep.

We weren't expecting to find our neighbor waiting for us on his front steps.
We thought it was just a stuffed scarecrow.
I barely reacted, but now I can't stop staring at him.
Ryal screamed and jumped into Mom's arms,
now he can't wait to get off the porch!

Checking out the loot the next day we found these awesome wax mustaches!

Owen did you notice that our candy bags weren't as full today?
Yes Ryal, I did notice that. It's as if someone went through and took 80% of it out.
Hmm. Who would do that?
